Should I drop 1 year for preparation or should I take admission according to my current UPTU ranking (low)?

I scored 66% in class 12th PCM.

    If you want to prepare and feel confident that you would get a good rank, give it a shot and prepare! You have time, giving one year for preparation is no big deal. PCM has a good scope. Try focusing on your favourite concepts first, this will engage your attention. Practice question banks, online as well as offline. Even if you don't join the coaching centre, do enrol for test series, this will help you test your preparation. Yes, there would be a few people in your family or friend circle who would demotivate you for dropping a year off for preparation. But in the long run, it's a great deal and worth a try if it fetches you a good s

    I know it is a difficult phase of life, but you have to avoid all the affected activity and feel confident
    If you want to prepare and feel confident that you would get a good rank, give it a shot and prepare! You have time, giving one year for preparation is no big deal. PCM has a good scope. Try focusing on your favourite concepts first, this will engage your attention. Practice question banks, online as well as offline. Even if you don't join the coaching centre, do enrol for test series, this will help you test your preparation. Prepare well for the next year, if you really wish to do so.

    Hi Sandeep,
    If you are getting a good college which has awesome placement record and provides numerous opportunities then it's better not to take drop and start the course. But if you ain't able to get a good college then I suggest you to go for drop and prepare well for next exam.

    This will all depend on you. If you want a good college, I suggest you to drop a year and prepare for it.
