    Yes, if your aim is the only law and the best law college. So you should drop a year. However, it is not compulsory if you are intelligent and prepared for the Common Law Admission Test, so you don't need to drop a year. The Common Law Admission Test is a centralized national-level government entrance test for admissions to 22 NLUs (national law universities) in India. Most self-financed and private law schools in India also use the CLAT scores for admissions to law colleges or institutes. I hope this will help you.

    You can explore about good law colleges without CLAT exam like LPU. Also you can explore about the option of 1 year stay if you age.
