Should I drop a year for IIT or do B.Tech from other colleges?

Devoting one full year for IIT JEE preparation has its own merits and demerits. Dropping a year means that you will get sufficient amount of time to prepare for JEE. It will allow you take mock up test and help to score good ranking in JEE. However, one year is a long time so the possibility of you

I u think u can score good marks in JEE , than u can take a chance, other wise do b tech or BE from a good college.
