Should I drop a year for IIT or pursue B.Tech from private colleges?

Degree from IIT has its advantage over degree from private colleges. Devoting one full year for JEE preparation has its own merits and demerits. To go in IIT u require to clear its entrance exam if u drop 1 yr you can do its proper preparation by joining coaching institites like fiitjee,bansal titorials or VMC etc, do this if you are confident enough. If ur willing to study hard and prepare for IIT then u can drop other wise many good institute for pursing ENGG
