Should I drop a year for JEE Main? I got 96% in CBSE 12th & 49 marks in JEE. I had prepared only for boards and not for JEE in 11th & 12th.

If you are passionate enough to get inside a reputed campus for under graduation it's important to clear JEE. You can select a good coaching center and go for 1 year coaching. You can easily crack the exam. Dedication and speed for answering matters a lot in this exam.
