Should I drop this year and prepare for JEE Mains 2017, I scored 43 marks in JEE Mains 2016?

    Its totally depend upon you. If u have potential and spirit then and u are confident that u can crack it next tym then go for it unless it will be only wastage of a year. Everyone can only suggest their own opinion but no one can better understand u more than yourself.so ask urself and do whatever your heart is saying to u.Best of luck.

    To be honest, I would suggest you to not to drop and take admission in any good college and if your dream is to be an IITan, then go for GATE and work hard it will be beneficial.

    No you should not because many reputated coaching centers takes those students who have got 50+ in JEE Mains.

    It is completely a personal thing. If you are ready to sacrifice a year and work super hard and be able to increase your score then I think you should go for it. But, that being said, let me tell you, only take this risk, if you are sure that the next year when you sit, you will be able to increase your score at least 3-4 folds. Because, your score is quite on the lower side.
    If you have given any other entrance exams and scored a good rank anywhere and you are getting a good college then my advice to you would be to take admission over there and work super hard while in college to make up for lost ground. Otherwise as I said, every yea

    If u are determined about it then u should drop a year.Also from next year board normalisation wont be considered so it would b easy to get a good rank through JEE Mains only.

    It depends on your study strength and determination. If you drop one year, you will have to work hard with a proper guidance.
