Should I drop this year for the preparation of JEE Mains 2017 or pursue B.Tech in CSE in LPU?
I scored 81 percent marks in my HSC.

You should go for admission in LPU. LPU is a brand in itself. It has been ranked as one of the best universities by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its placements, its pedagogy, its faculty, to mention a few. The university leaves no stone unturned to shape the future of its students. It is definitely the first choice of both national and international students.

4 years agoHi Sagar, You have got very good percentage in your board exams. If you are prepared rather well prepared to a pair in AJEE Mains then go for it in a one go in this year only. Otherwise, being an education consultant I would not suggest you to drop your year just for the sake of preparation once again. Eligibility criteria for getting admission in B.Tech at Lovely Professional University is that candidate must have 60% aggregate marks in 12th class and LPU NEST exam must be qualified. There is no surety that after dropping one year you will get IIT or even the same score that you got this year. So, better would be to join LPU. It is a very good university with very good placements. CSE students of the university are placed in good companies like Google, Yahoo, Amazon, Adobe, etc.

If you have enough time and you cant spend a lot of money then you should wait otherwise LPU is good but costlier than government colleges.
