Should I drop this year or take admission in any engineering college?
I scored 70 marks in JEE Mains and 55 percent marks in class 12th board exam.

Taking a drop or not is entirely your decision, if you are satisfied with the college and branch then no need to take a drop otherwise take a drop and score good rank next year
