Should I drop this year or take admission in LPU for pursuing B.Tech in civil engineering?

A whole one year of life, Time you know is a precious resource, it doesn't come back. It is always better to grab opportunity as it comes. And you have a winner. This year over 700 companies visited the campus for placements out of which over 60 offered more than 10:LPA and more than 100 were from fortune 500 club. I did MBA from LPU and I had many friends from Civil Engineering, so I have idea course,Placements,Curriculum, etc.One of my friend told that,This programme at LPU include a blend of hands-on experiential learning and theoretical foundational courses. The very best include a mix of traditional learning in laboratories and classrooms with cooperative programs that allow students to gain work experience. Others may include independent research with faculty members another good bet for individuals hoping to go directly into research or the workforce upon graduation. Coming to faculty, they are one of the best mentors to us & everything here is up to the mark. The faculty is supporting if one is willing to learn. They teach the subjects with their full effort. Writing board, screen-projector, labs are used to teach. The college arranges frequent industry visits. New innovative ideas were framed into working models and were showcased to 10000+ school students. The capstone project is an integral part of B. Tech program in which students have to pick a live project based on practical problem-based scenario (ideally from industry) and work for six months under a mentor and present a report at the end. As an educational consultant, I would suggest not to drop a year and pursue your B.Tech from LPU. B.Tech Civil at LPU is an Engineering programme that articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology through lab practice and projects to gain knowledge in areas like Structural, Environmental & Highway Engineering, Construction Management etc. Which are in sync with industry requirements. The students also work on live projects, so that they are able to apply their knowledge to practical settings. It is one of the few that has embraced international practices when it comes to designing a curriculum. Instead of using old-school books and lectures, LPU has experimented with books, interactive problem-solving interactions, and working through real-world applications.

Hi there, Hi there, dropping a year is not advisable. LPU NEST is not rocket science. LPU NEST is an entrance test conducted by LPU for admission to various programs. It aims to check how far the concepts from the previous qualification are clear. Those who have studied honestly will be able to make it. Don't you worry, the syllabus of LPU NEST is all that you have studied in your previous qualification? In addition to it, there are questions of reasoning, verbal ability, and analytical ability are also there. LPU NEST is a proctored exam and questions are asked in the form of MCQs. The result is displayed on the dashboard of the student after 24 hrs. One gets two chances of attempting LPU NEST. The best of the two results will be applicable for a scholarship. One has to register oneself with the university and pay online for taking LPU NEST. So don't be scared, prepare for it, go to the LPU NEST website to know the syllabus, attempt it and qualify it. Well, whatever happens life still has to move forward. In the situation of pandemic everyone understands your concern. In my opinion you should not waste a whole year from your life. There is still time you can apply for your desired programme so that your year is not wasted.
