    Hi, Dropping a year is never a good option. You must take admission to LPU for pursuing a B.Tech in civil engineering because LPU is the best to pursue civil engineering. LPU has its student organisation known as "bridge, " which conducts various events and competitions to bring forth creativity and to award the best engineer in the making. The consortium of former LPU alumni and an active group of engineering professionals with a sound civil background share their experience on various technologies, industries, methodologies, and processes adapted by many MNC.     Hi Narain, I will never suggest you to drop whole one year. Time you know is a precious resource, it doesn't come back. It is always better to grab opportunity as it comes. B.Tech Civil at LPU is an Engineering programme which articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology through lab practice and projects to gain knowledge in areas like Structural, Environmental & Highway Engineering, Construction Management etc. Which are in sync with industry requirements.
