Hi Franky. If you are taking drop remember this your precious 1 Year would be wasted. You have to keep in mind the approach towards CAT should to aiming top 20 B-schools. For that you have to work extremely hard. Your one year drop should be effective utilization of the time to crack. If you think you can do it take a drop. If you can't then continue with regular work. And study side-by-side as it will improve your work experience which is counted in the industry.

Yes, definitely you can take a year drop after you complete your BBA degree and prepare well for CAT and CMAT. Along with this with good preparation, you can also give other MBA exams like XAT MAT SNAP NMAT. All these exams also open up a list of good colleges for you to take admission to.

It is a very tough decision to take because if you are preparing for CAT and dropping out for 1 year it would be effective if you get the admission in top 10 colleges otherwise it would be a negative impression for the companies at the time of your placement as they will see it that you have wasted if you think you can get the good college after dropping for 1 year you should go.
