Should I enroll for Polytechnic on the basis of 10th or go for something else which can be done after 12th?

I've got 10 CGPA in 10th but didn't perform well in 12th. What should I do now?

Polytechnic is a backup option, means if you are not able to study class 12th, but if you can, then you must go for class 12th and after class 12th, you can think of something but currently just go for class 12th.

    Dear friend,
As per my opinion and knowledge, you must go for Polytechnic after completing class 10th. As you know it has a very good scope ahead and you can easily get a good job.

    No Nishant,
According to me, you should not pursue Polytechnic after 10th as after taking admission in Polytechnic, you will have no other options. First, focus on your studies and know your interests. Score good in 12th. All lines are opened for you after 12th.
    Good luck!

If you are ready to do well in you future studies, then try to get admission into the course you like and don't let the situations define what you will do when god has given you a chance to choose.

I think doing Diploma after class 12th is not a good choice, as you'll do it for another 3 years, and you'll still be equal to an class 12th passed student, so you can do class 12th from open schooling, or I can suggest you that it'll be more good, if you apply in universities which take entrance exam, perform well there and take admission, because after that class 12th marks will not matter much.

You can opt for Polytechnic after your class 10th, if you don't have good percentage in your PUC and after Polytechnic you can opt for further studies in the same field.

Absolutely! Having a humanities background is no barrier to pursuing Fine Arts at Chandigarh University.

The programme welcomes students from all streams, including humanities, as long as they meet the minimum requirement of 50% marks in their 12th exams. Many humanities students find the programme a natural extension of their academic interests, as the curriculum often connects with cultural, historical, and social themes. For example, a student who studied history might bring unique perspectives into courses like painting or applied arts.

The university values creativity and passion over specific subjects studied in school.

The main eligibility is very simple. A student should have passed 10+2 or an equivalent exam in any stream from a recognised board with at least 50% marks in total.
