If you are a commerce or arts stream student and wants to build a career in IT, then you should go for BCA. But if you're from Science stream then B.Tech (CSE or IT) should be your main priority. Also if you're interested in programming only then you should go for BCA. As without interest in programming, your BCA degree will not worth that much. If you've interest towards learning programming, then also you can go for BCA. It doesn't matter if you've any previous experience or knowledge in programming or not. As you'll be taught programming languages from the beginning. So, you'll get to clear your basics.
