When comparing Diploma and a degree programme, a degree is always weighed more valuable than a Diploma, as student undergoes a lot of theoretical and practical modules under 3-4 years of programme. A student can apply for the programme for B. Des in Fashion, interior, product design, and more, Students coming from any 10+2 or graduation discipline from a recognised university, or board with a minimum aggregate of 50%, can appear for any entrance or admission process or any design course. Usually a degree is always considered better than a diploma. Most diplomas focus on a specific area minus the general education requirements you will find in an associate's degree. Many employers require a college degree simply because it proves to them that you are competent in the general education areas of writing, maths, social sciences, etc.
