Should I go for a drop after scoring 160 in jee mains & 6000 rank in IIT?

Pl help me out of this confusion that whether is there any advantage in having a year drop?

    I don't suggest you of dropping the year. You can get a good college at this score. Just go ahead. What I have noticed is that certain students drop the year & lament later. They are somewhere lagged behind. They lose their confidence. Doesn't matter even if you're not getting the best of college. Whichever college you're admitted into, just work hard & give in your best there. Don't worry about placements and all. The college doesn't usually matter at the time of placement, it all just depends on your ability. Just wait for the JEE Mains rank. Gud Luck. :)
