Should I go for a job after BCA or after MCA?

Hi, The skills attained by studying a postgraduate degree will strengthen your CV and certainly help you stand out amongst those who haven't obtained a postgraduate qualification. You"ll be acquiring knowledge at a higher level than what you studied during your Bachelors degree, and the course should help you develop the necessary skills for your field of work. With a postgraduate qualification on your CV, securing a good graduate job is more likely, and the possibility of attracting a higher salary is increased. This will leave you feeling confident that the time and money invested in your postgraduate education was worth it. If you had done BCA then after BCA you can upgrade your qualification by doing MCA. Doing MCA will increase the job opportunities for you. Moreover you will get a good package also after MCA as compare to BCA. So the most important thing is that from where you do MCA. There are very few institutes and universities which offer good placement, industrial and practical exposure like: Lovely Professional University- Punjab, Loyola College - Chennai Department of Science (Christ University) - Bangalore Miranda House - Delhi and few others. You can go for both. You can go for BCA and MBA in systems, which can give you both technical and management experience.
