Should I go for chemical engineering or computer science keeping in mind the future scenario and which would help me better later?

When you think or compare about the scope in these two branches then, computer Science always wins. In coming future coding is useful or necessary in everywhere or in every job. You also know in these days everything started converting in digital. So, coding is necessary for every engineer. Rather,

In both the branches, salary is always good but it also depends on your interest in which branch you want to work.

See, if you want to go for the research, then you can opt for the chemical engineering. Otherwise, opt for the CS and there is a wide scope of both the streams. So, for the future in both, the streams you only have to look for your passion.
