Selection of branch is totally your concern as it depends on your interest but for selection of university I must suggest to go for LPU as the engineering department is very good as per my knowledge. Even placements are very good over the years.

For B.Tech CSE you can go for LPU, as it provides quality education as well as placements also. University provides with enough opportunities to each and every student and it's up to the students to grab it. All I can say is LPU brings in lot more companies (approximately. 450+) and the average package revolves around INR. 5 to INR. 6 Lacs per annum. It is up to you how you prepare yourself for the placements and stand out from the herd. Recently 3 students of LPU got placed in Amazon at a package of INR. 28 LPA. Here I am sharing a link for you

To get admission into the PhD programme at Lovely Professional University (LPU), here's how the process works:

You must meet the eligibility criteria: typically a Master's degree in a relevant field with minimum 55% aggregate marks (UGC norms) or equivalent. In certain disciplines, candidates with a 4‑year Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of industry / teaching / research experience and 75% marks may also apply. However, candidates with certain valid qualifications are exempt from the entrance test: e.g. those who have cleared UGC‑NET/JRF, CSIR‑NET/JRF, GATE, GPAT or have done M.Phil (in regular mode). In their case, selection is ba

Hi there,

Yes, LPU conducted LPUNEST entrance test for its various programmes. However, it depends upon in which stream you want to take admission. For many UG/PG programmes such as btech, B.Sc agriculture, law, management etc. test is mandatory for both admission and scholarship purpose. For some other courses such as computer application, BBA, hotel management, Bsc IT,   commerce,   arts etc. test is only for scholarship purpose .

I hope this helps,

Thank you.

Both Chandigarh University (CU) and Lovely Professional University (LPU) are known for engineering, but if we think of Electrical Engineering, LPU appears better in many ways. As a student, I personally feel that LPU has a very practical approach to learning. Their labs are state of the art, and well-resourced, and I find that the faculty usually support us to work on real-time projects, which build confidence to take on challenges in industry. The university brings many industry professionals for guest lecturers, and have affiliations with top companies in the world, so this gives students a greater opportunity for internships and pla

Dear reader,

Taking admission at LPU is a great choice. LPUNEST is their own entrance and scholarship exam.

The candidate's merit rank on the test and the courses and specializations they selected during the online preference submission are the main factors used to assign seats for LPU NEST counseling.  The availability of seats in the selected programs is another factor that affects allocation.

For more information kindly contact their concerned department.

I hope this information helps.
