Should I go for full-time MBA or part-time?

I think full time MBA is the better option because you come to know about more theoretical as well as practical knowledge. Full time MBA offers the skills which are required in the management positions. But in case you working as a HR, you can do part time MBA from any university, and I think you are already working so, you have that skills which a company want.

If you have enough of free time and no financial pressure, working full time is the ideal alternative. However, if you are employed and do not have enough free time to attend classes and attend college every day, it is preferable that you choose a part-time or even executive MBA programme. But it's crucial to choose a reputable college when you want to pursue a part-time or executive career.

If you are a working professional and have more than 3-5 years of experience then you should go for Part-time MBA to excel in your current organisation. Part time MBA are created specifically for professionals with work experience. Part Time MBA provides students with the same foundation in key management concepts and disciplines as in a two-year full-time MBA. Part-time MBA course work is built on the basis of that students will have diverse and extensive work experience by virtue of which they will able to related to management theories and concepts.

For a long term career growth as HR professional regular MBA degree from top B-School such as XLRI or TISS will be very good. Part-time MBA may give you learning but may not help in immediate advancement of career as a HR professional. You will get only small incremental growth after MBA part time.
