Should I go for LPU for CSE or go for any other college as I have heard a lot of rumors about it? But LPU has a good placement record.

Hello! LPU is good colleges for B.Tech CSE I know this because my brother is pass out student from Lovely Professional University and he told me that so many organizations visited campus for placement process with a good package, average package for CSE student is 4 lacs per annum and if a student maintains his/her CGPA then definitely he/she will be placed. My brother is very good in programming and he got a job at Amazon with a package of 15 lacs per annum. I have seen his growth in academic as well as, as a human being, LPU provides a platform for the student to enhance their skills in sports, co-curricular, cultural activities, practical exposure, etc. He wrote an entrance exam for Eligibility and Scholarship and on the basis of this test, he got a scholarship for his degree (4 years). He told me about the student organizations of which he was a member. His team conducted a fundraising event so that they can provide useful things to a school and an old age home. Their team also took orphans to a Science city tour. They had organised much free health check-up camp in villages. All these activities have improved his managing skills, time management, presentation skills. I noticed that after joining LPU he improved a lot. He also said that university provides a platform to the students to run their own venture, a student can avail SEED money for initiating the project. He started his own venture on campus and did well in that. He was staying in a hostel because services are too good like mess facility, internet services, tv room, biometric facility and wardens are so supportive. He is also a badminton player and got a chance to play in AIU and won many prizes. He told me he was enrolled in Professional Enhancement programme and curriculum incorporates specific courses to crack the placement processes. Good Luck!

THE FINANCE MINISTER HIMSELF INAUGURATED OUR START UP SCHOOL. Honorable Finance Minister of India, Shri Arun Jaitley inaugurated LPU's Startup School. The School serves to build a culture of entrepreneurship through mentorship sessions with entrepreneurs in residence, business plan competitions and an investment fund. And lpu is better.

LPU is a well renowned private university in India with 30K+ students all across the world and with 4000 experienced faculty members and staff members. There are more than 200 programmes to choose and with a great infrastructure LPU provides all the facilities within the campus itself. You should definitely go for LPU for your higher studies. Rumours are meant to be rumours. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognitions and accreditation down the lane and mark itself amongst the few of the top private universities. Even the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. So, I would prefer you to choose LPU to pursue your higher studies.

Lovely Professional University is great university for Engineering programme. I would recommend you to join LPU for CSE programme. LPU is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. Lately, number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. Professors are easily approachable in the college and are well experienced. They are very supportive of all technicalities. We can contact them anytime for our study purpose. The latest teaching methods are used in the classroom. Curriculum in our branch is very well designed such that we can learn everything from basics to the in-depth knowledge of our field. The College takes us for the industrial visit for more growth and experience. It hands on experience by also working on live projects to develop a sense of problem-solving, and critical thinking in order to gain real-life understanding along with skill enhancement. University is good or bad, is always subjective. There arises individual differences which leads to these kind of statements. There could be a place which you may prefer and I may not. It could be because of many factors like situation, mind set, preferences etc. Every rising institution would have many competitors who would try to spoil the name and fame of the organisation, so I don't believe in the rumours. You are yourself mentioning regarding good placements, then false rumours by competitors are bound to come. I personally feel B.Tech from LPU is the best engineering degree as compared to the Engineering degrees from any other institute. LPU provides the latest curriculum which is accepted at industry level, industrial exposures and the best placement depending upon the caliber of the student. LPU has a stellar record in providing placement opportunities to the students as newly 600 companies (more than 90% being MNC's) visit every year for campus-recruitment of students from LPU. The companies which have visited as of now are: Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, Cognizant Technology Solutions etc. Hope this helps.

Rumours are just rumours at the end. LPU is one among the best 5 universities of the country so obviously rumours travel along the fame too. It is very much known for its placements and ample exposures, both national and international. You can definitely go for it as it provides quality education at reasonableprice. Good wishes.
