Both the degrees have equal value in the market. The major difference is that, the MBA syllabus is based on university and PGDM syllabus is based on current market trend. MBA is better than PGDM.

Below mentioned is the basic difference in MBA and PGDM:
1. MBA degree is provided by university and PGDM degree is offered by college.
2. In MBA, university take decision about modification in syllabus. In PGDM, it depends on the institute. They can modify the syllabus according to the trend in market, which provide better opportunities to you.
PGDM is better than MBA.
