Should I go to LPU or Chandigarh University?

LPU would a wise choice to make here. Placement is exceptionally good here. Around 600 companies visit the campus every year including some of the very big figures like Google, IBM, Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, etc. In all of those coming for placements here, around 100 are the ones who also recruit from IITs and NITs. Also, while there are some students who choose to go with higher studies as well, but in all those who are up for the placement drive, maximum or you can almost all of them are placed. It is one such university that prepares its students very well for the placements and helps them with any kind of problem throughout this process. And it is not just the placements that is good here, but all the other aspects as well, which comes to your mind while considering a University, like Campus life, academics, sports, etc. LPU has a beautiful 600-acre campus. Talking about academics, it follows an innovative teaching methodology that focuses more on practical knowledge. In sports, it has all the kinds available here from American football, handball, archery, etc. To swimming pools as well.

Hi, I know this dilemma happens when you are a good student and not want to give your next 4 years of academic life in any university's hand before proper searching. And as far as the rankings are concerned, LPU now among the TOP 25 institutes in India for promoting innovation and entrepreneurship by MHRD, Govt. Of India. Well, there are multiple factors for coming to the conclusion of choosing LPU. The first and the most important is the placements. The placement drive at LPU is one of the best and the most successful ones. More than 550 companies visit the campus every year with around 50% of them offering dream packages. Some of the very famous recruiters from LPU include Google, Microsoft, Bosch, IBM, Tech Mahindra, ITC, Hyundai, Goldman Sachs, etc. Also, every coming year a new benchmark is reached by the students in placements. Recently the highest package that was offered by Microsoft to a student was 42 LPA. Talking about things other than placements like campus life, curriculum, infrastructure, sports facilities, academics, faculties, etc. LPU is better in all of them if compared to Chandigarh University. The infrastructure as it is at LPU, you won't find it anywhere. The campus is huge and very clean at the same time with all the facilities. I will share something which I experienced before getting admission in LPU. When I was about to complete my schooling, we (my family) started looking for a good college for myself. This is when one of my family friend told us about Lovely Professional University. Both of their children had graduated from LPU and they had some great things to say about the university. This is when we decided to visit the campus. We had a talk with the staff and faculty to know more about the university. In addition to this, we also had a talk with the students of the university. Here is a list of factors on which we reviewed LPU to decide whether we should go for it or not. The current students of LPU told us that the faculty is very friendly and considerate. Apart from helping the student academically, the highly-experienced faculty works towards the all-round development of the student at LPU. We got to know that the students at LPU get a chance to work in Fortune 500 Companies. They get a chance to work with Google, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, and many other international companies. LPU has also recorded the highest number of placements in the past years with more and more students getting the chance to work in the top companies of the world. Infrastructure: Another great thing we got to know about LPU was its infrastructure which is actually as good as it is advertised. It offers students the kind of campus life with facilities you won't find in many colleges. From departmental stores to coffee shops, LPU offers an entirely different campus life experience. It has a full fledged mall inside the campus. Another good thing about this university, LPU has food stalls that provide different cuisines, and the south Indian delicacies are really good. Being alumni I would say, LPU's campus is one of the largest lush green campuses of India which is spread over 600+ acres. Gym, Hi-Speed 24 Hrs free Wi-Fi service, Swimming pool. Very good central Library of 6 floors and huge collection of text-books and reference books. The campus has its own hospital, hotel, and a mall. The classes are well-designed with all the latest amenities available. Another thing that I liked about the university was that it has some of the best teachers on board. Not only did they make the classroom sessions interesting, but they were also were very friendly and catered to any doubts I had about a particular topic. I had a great academic exposure during my time at LPU. Students here get to work on live projects because of which they are able to learn in depth about their subjects. They also get to attend the workshops and guest lectures during their time in the campus which actually help them gain valuable knowledge. LPU providing quality education, and have provided good rankings to the university on various parameters like placements, quality education, industry interface, infrastructure, international relations, Tie-ups etc. The students of LPU has been placed in the top companies with high salary packages. The placements have been divided as dream packages and bulk recruiters. Apart from placements, many eminent companies approach LPU to hire students for internships. A Salary package of 42 LPA was offered by Amazon. The center for Professional enhancement of LPU aims at developing new skill sets to its students besides improving their existing skills and competencies. I'm alumni of lpu and from my experience, I can say lpu is the best, it has the best infrastructure and professional faculty is there who are always there for students. They conduct a series of test in each semester consisting of CAs (continuous assessment), mid-term and end-term which helps in evaluating the students performing in the right way. This university is best for the student who really wants to learn and grow in their respected fields. And in term of placement also LPU is the best.
