Should I go to VIT, Vellore at 58k rank or should I drop a year to prepare for JEE again?

There'd have been no confusion if I hadn't qualified VITEEE at all, but I had a rank of 58862. I got ECE (which I wanted) at Vellore, but in Category 5, had 223 on BITSAT & didn't qualify Mains. I don't think I am satisfied with this because I didn't clear the exam that I was targeting.

Hello, hope you are doing well. You must go for VIT, Vellore instead of wasting a year in JEE preparation because Vellore is very good college instead of getting colleges with JEE marks. All the best.

Thanks for your advice! Could you elaborate a bit on the pros and cons of each decision (whether to drop, or to go to VIT) and list the reasons for not dropping for JEE? Thanks again!
