    Hello Priya
Obtain degrees from non UGC or AICTE recognised Institutes will not be able to sit for government exams for higher education or apply for government jobs, However, they may find employment in some companies in private sector which hires candidates based on skills not on degree.
    All the best.

No, UGC or AICTE is required these days if you want to pursue any job in the government or private sector. As without its recognition, your degree will not be considered valid.

A university having UGC approval doesn't need AICTE approval but colleges/ institutions which are affiliated to Universities require AICTE approval. The Supreme Court has ruled in the famous Bharathidasan University versus AICTE case that it is not obligatory for a university, created under an Act of a competent legislature, to seek and secure prior approval of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to start a department for imparting a course or programme in technical education or a technical institut
