Should I join a college only after checking it out online or visit it first prior joining? I am from Nepal but want to study in India.

If you can you should come and check it out personally rather than following online reviews particularly if the college is not highly ranked. You can check the campus, infrastructure, location, accommodation, etc. Nepal is also nearby, so its not hard to travel.
