Should I join a Diploma or study PCM in inter after completing class 10th?

To join diploma after 10th is a crucial one. However, once you complete diploma, it's treated as equivalent to 12th for many purposes. Of course, one looses one full year here.
Fear of maths can be overcome easily by going to a good teacher.
