Should I join business or do a job & prepare for MBA entrance exam? I'm confused.
I'm a BBM graduate & haven't given any exam yet for MBA. l'll have to wait for a year to do MBA.

Hi,
You have 3 options in front of you. 2 out of those 3 are related to business. Even if you want to go for an MBA course, you have to wait for one year. So, you can decide on basis of these parameters.
1. If you want to go for a job and have no interest in your business or any business for that

I want to mention 2 points here:
1. Work experience that colleges actually consider, unlike BPO jobs.
2. Your future interest after MBA like marketing, finance etc. This can also give you a good talking point during placement interview after going into the college and companies also give preferenc

Hi Tabish,
Yes, it would be better you prepare well for the exams and take admission next year. For the time being you have a family business then give some time and gain experience from it and try to balance your work and studies.

If you are inclined towards doing family business then better not to invest your family's hard earned money into entrance examinations & heavy fees of MBA colleges or institutes. Still if you want to gain experience in a better and a practical manner do job first. After all later as you are inspired

Well it makes no sense joining family business after MBA, So it is advised to join your family biz soon and then probably after MBA you can start your own entrepreneur idea.
