    LPU runs M.Tech. (Power Systems) in Electrical Engineering discipline, with a Duration : 2yrs. (4 Semesters). Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam): Pass with 60% aggregate marks in B.Tech. ( Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Instrumentation or Instrumentation and Control or Electronics and Instrumentation) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or GATE. (5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defence Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmir Migrants)
    Admission Criteria: Merit in qualifying examination, subject to fulfilling eligibility criteria.

    Always choose the institute that along with good education provides you a platform to improve your ideas and provide an stage to bring your innovative ideas into practice. As far as these colleges are concern, both are good but I would prefer Lovely Professional University. School of Electronics and Electrical Engineering in LPU provides very good opportunities to all the students of the EE. Placements: LPU has a good placement record for EE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are BOSCH, Microsoft, Code Nation, Adobe, etc. In which students

    As LPU alumni, I would recommend LPU for M.Tech engineering, I did CSE from LPU and got placed during the placement drive at campus, as my many friend did Electrical engineering, and they have good experience. LPU has good placement more than 500 + companies visit LPU every year.

    Dear Aspirant, Yes, of course, you should join LPU for an M.Tech in Electrical Engineering programme. I am also an alumnus of LPU and completed MBA and my friend did M.Tech in Electrical Engineering with a specialisation in Power Systems. HE had a wonderful experience while studying at LPU.
