LPU is a very good college for you. The placement, infrastructure and faculty members are very good. -
You should take a drop as you have very good chances to get admission in IITs, if you work hard. -
LPU is a private university, if you know your abilities and you are confident then you have to wait and try some another state engineering exam with JEE. -
I advised u that u will must join a best private engineering college which requires JEE Mains qualified -
You can take a drop and take coaching for JEE and definitely you will score better next year. Best college is important for the best package.

If you can score above 250 next year, definitely you can repeat next year. Since, you could get in top IITs, but still your score is good and you will get in IITs, it is up to you. If I were you, I will repeat to improve my rank.
