Should I join LPU or drop this year, I scored 162 marks in JEE Mains?

I am sure that I can score 250 in my next attempt.

    You should take a drop as you have very good chances to get admission in IITs, if you work hard.

    LPU is a private university, if you know your abilities and you are confident then you have to wait and try some another state engineering exam with JEE.

    You can take a drop and take coaching for JEE and definitely you will score better next year. Best college is important for the best package.

    If you can score above 250 next year, definitely you can repeat next year. Since, you could get in top IITs, but still your score is good and you will get in IITs, it is up to you. If I were you, I will repeat to improve my rank.
