Should I learn java on my own or focus on C? I am being taught C in college. I want to develop apps.
I dont know any other computer language other than C. I have many new and original ideas for creating apps. But lack resources. Shall i wait to be taught more languages in college or can i take a basic start with this much knowledge?

You should focus on C because it will give you basic knowledge of programming and also learn pointers in C as it will give in depth knowledge of how computer program play around memory references. After you are done with basics of C, then move ahead to learn Java. Learning Java will be helpful while

But do you think without knowledge you will able to build something? First gain knowledge then play using it.
