If you want to opt engineering as a career option, you first need to have strong fundamental knowledge on physics, chemistry and mathematics. In this 4 year course, you have to do lot of assignments and projects and seminars and presentations. And maintaining your CGPA is also important to get a good job. Besides this, engineering life is quite enjoyable also. So, I advice you to go for it.

It depends on your field of interest. If you have interest in Maths/Physics/Chemistry, B.Tech/B.E. is a good option to go for. Else, you can look for Bachelors in Science or any field if your interest.
