Hi, UK Universities are good and several of them have world rankings. If you have choosen to study in one of the world class Universities, then you should not have a problem. Either way, you program is very much research centred and so if you are good, the same university might offer you a PhD course with full funding. UK has several good Biotech Research programs and you can also look at other countries in Europe like Denmark or Netherlands or Ireland where lots of research happens in your area. As long as your University is a good ranked one, rest assured of your career pathway. On last count more than 119 from UK has got Nobel prize
