Should I opt for B.Sc (Hons) in physics or pursue a course related to arts field as I want to appear for IAS exam?
I want to pursue B.Sc (Hons) in physics but my parents want me to opt for arts stream.

In civil services exam, you have to take subjective exams related to the subjects you have studied in your degree. So, whatever you may choose according to your interest it will help you to prepare for the Mains as well. Check the notification of IAS exam and show to your parents as well from UPSC website and check which subjects make eligible for which of the posts. Science subjects makes you eligible for IAS and IFS both.
