Should I opt for B.Tech in biotechnology in India or pursue the same abroad to get good job opportunities and high salary package?

Hi,
Biotechnology course is all about using concepts of Biology for tweaking and modifying biological systems, cell structures, biological processes etc. So that they can be used in Engineering and Technology related applications to improve and enrich various sectors such as healthcare, food processing, agriculture, pharmaceuticals etc. And solve problems arising in these sectors. After a B.Tech degree, students can find jobs in pharmaceutical companies, research labs, biotech companies like Life Cell, Reliance Biotech, and many others and institutions in India. There are various industries that are engaged in developing and researching biological products and chemical industries. Besides, there is always demand for improvements in medicines and health products. Students in the research field tend to take up projects overseas, which is another lucrative option. Since India is still developing, it is highly recommended that you do your B.Tech in a reputed institution for good campus placements and job opportunities. If your university is not reputed, chances of any biotech company coming for placements will be zero. I would like to recommend you that you should pursue your B.Tech Biotech, from a well renowned, reputed nationally or state wise university, in which chances of any biotech or pharmaceutical company coming for placements sessions are higher as compare to the institute which is not that much well reputed and re renowned. What do you mean by handsome salary? It's a vague word. salary depends majorly on your institute and then your own individual performance for further details please check for your kind information only 66% of IIT graduates got job in campus placement this year and biotech is still developing field.
