Should I opt for B.Tech in CSE in LPU or appear for JEE Mains again next year?

The eligibility criteria to apply at LPU is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or In case student scored more than or equal to 90% in 10+2, or 90 percentile in JEE Mains, then LPU NEST will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission. Hi there, dropping out for a year won't be advisable. You can appear for LPU NEST LPUs own entrance exam. However, you need to fulfill the eligibility conditions. I will guide you through the admission procedure so that you won't face any hassle. You can follow the steps to proceed: Step 1- Sign Up Register on the LPUs admission portal with your basic details. You will receive mail once you have successfully registered. Login to the LPUs admission portal with an already created username and password. Step 2- Application for Admission Fill out the application form and submit it. Select your programme from the list. Make a partial payment of Rs. 10,000/- (Application fee, I. e., Rs. 500; Rest under the programme fee of the first semester). Upload the documents for verification. Pay the balance fee within the time frame as set by LPU. In case you would like to appear for LPU NEST for scholarship purposes, you may proceed with depositing the test fee later on.

In my opinion, You should opt for B.Tech CSE in LPU rather than dropping a year. The staff is well qualified and most of them are Ph. The curriculum is built keeping in mind the current technology trends. LPU offers different specializations namely IOT, Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, and many more. The placements at LPU are excellent. Many top recruiters visit the LPU campus to employ graduates, such as Amazon, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini, Bosch, TCS, and several other firms. Moreover, Amazon recruited LPU students with high packages. More than 650 companies visit LPU every year for recruitment with an average package of 4-10 LPA. Every year visiting companies escalate in number and till date University has recorded the highest placements in North India. The University is making 100% efforts for their students by providing them placement oriented classes, starting their preparation from the very first year but in the end it is the student's responsibility to clear the interviews. But joining LPU would be a better option for you because you will save your time as well as you will get more opportunities and get quality education whereas you can get admission in LPU in the engineering programme. The curriculum is built keeping in mind the current technology trends and is vetted by the company officials. LPU offers different specializations namely IOT, Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, and many more. The placements at LPU are excellent. Moreover, they give you the option to choose your pathway elective as well that whether you want a corporate Job or Research or Government Job. The preparation for placements starts from the very first year. Many top recruiters visit the LPU campus to employ graduates, such as Amazon, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini, Bosch, TCS, and several other firms.
