Dear Sagar, This is a choice you have to make, let me make it a bit easier for you. One full year is a lot of time in formative period of career. Your choices also seem to be good. I think you must SEE the end result of your graduation vis a vis LPU and other top colleges. If you really dream big and have that tenacity in you, go for LPU and save one year. Some highlights of placements are:
    MICROSOFT INDIA = 42 LPA
    GAMESKRAFT TECHNOLOGIES = 32 LPA
    INTERVIEW BIT = 31 LPA
    CODE NATION = 31 LPA
    MEDIA NET = 29.78 LPA
AMAZON SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT INDIA LTD = 28 LPA OPTMYZR = 24 LPA
ADOBE SYSTEMS INDIA = 22.3 LPA

Dear Saezy, I recommend LPU to do B.Tech in CSE this year only. You no need to drop your year. LPU provides all the facilities that other good IITs provide. I have also done my MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is studying over there in B.Tech CSE. There are a few points I would like to share about why CSE is good at LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per

B.Tech CSE programme is offered by numerous Universities across the country but only few offer this with unique curriculum and placements. As per my experience, I must say that LPU provides great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. LPU is far way ahead with any other institute in many parameters such as rankings, exposure and placements. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Let me highlight what I have out figured: LPU adopts new technologies faster th
