Should I opt for B.Tech in CSE in LPU or appear for JEE Mains again next year?

Dear Saezy, I recommend LPU to do B.Tech in CSE this year only. You no need to drop your year. LPU provides all the facilities that other good IITs provide. I have also done my MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is studying over there in B.Tech CSE. There are a few points I would like to share about why CSE is good at LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the programme. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. For B.Tech (CSE) the eligibility includes 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) + LPUNEST. For B.Tech CSE (Hons) 70% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics )+ LPUNEST. JEE (Mains) exam score may be considered for scholarship but you need to qualify the eligibility criteria first. As per my experience, I must say that LPU provides great academic exposure to its students.
