As far as your preference is concerned both courses are good and have good scope in their domain. However, if you are planning to prepare for civil services then better go for public administration. Both are good subjects, but if your ultimate aim is to prepare for civil services then go for public administration. Both the subjects have their importance. However, Political Science has more depth. For civil services examination, students generally prefer Public Administration.
