    B.Tech course is the better option. Selection will be on the basis of the engineering entrance examination and marks obtained in Plus Two or equivalent examinations in Science subjects. Students who pass the qualifying examination with at least 50 per cent marks in mathematics and as much in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biotechnology, computer Science or biology taken together are eligible to take the entrance examination.     Go for B.Tech in biotechnology. The three-year B.Sc course is conducted as any other science subject and the students can go for the M.Sc course and take up research later. B.Tech course is the better option. Selection will be on the basis of the engineering entrance examination and marks obtained in Plus Two or equivalent examinations in science subjects.     From my opinion, BE biotech is having a lot of scope nowadays. BE Biotech jobs are also available and if you select B.Sc. Biotech, then you have to deal with Botany or Zoology.
