Should I opt for computer science in 11th to pursue B.Tech in mechanical engineering?

    It is not necessary, but I would suggest you to take computer Science because programming is important and in class 11th and 12th teachers will teach you enough basics which may help you in your future.
    for mechanical engineering. CS is not necessary.
    You need to focus on PCM.

    No, opting for computer science in class XI don't have any relation with mechanical engineering. To pursue B.Tech in ME, you need to score good marks in physics, mathematics and chemistry.
