Should I opt for Diploma course after completing class 10th or continue with my HSC education?

I want to do Diploma in civil engineering but my friend said that there are only 7 to 10 colleges which come under Mumbai university, and have 70-80 seats. I scored 80 percent marks in class 10th.

If you have scored 80% in 10th, it means you are good in studies. According to me, you should continue your 10+2 and crack JEE Mains and JEE Advanced and pursue civil engineering from a good college.

If you are interested then you can go for Diploma. It will help you in getting a job. After one year of experience, you can join B.Tech. In that process, you can complete your Degree with one year of experience. But if you can not get a job after Diploma, you can pursue B.Tech directly after it. But in class 12th, you can choose different field with science and as you said that the seats are limited, you will have to try hard to get admission.
    All the best.
