You can pursue B.Tech in CSE from LPU with the condition to qualifying LPU NEST along with 60% criteria in class12th. For Diploma 50% marks are required for admission. Placements packages provided at LPU are very good especially for B.Tech CSE.
  • Sandeep, LPU is one of the best universities in India with best available placements. Better option would be to join Dual Diploma-B.Tech Degree where in your career prospects will increase. Apart form this, you will get fee and scholarship benefits and also will save 1 precious year of your life.

Firstly, you need to decide between Diploma and B.Tech and LPU provides both. Therefore, you can go for Diploma initially and then take B.Tech lateral entry in LPU as it has very good placements in engineering.

    Hi Sandeep,
As you have done 12th in non-medical and more than 50%, you can go for Diploma CSE lateral Entry and for B.Tech CSE lateral entry after that. For detailed information, contact LPU.

I am not aware about the cutoff in KITM. But, my personal suggestion for you is, you should go for B.Tech. Don't waste your 2 years effort. And, doing B.Tech from average college is better than doing Diploma from Good College. Rest is your choice.
