Should I opt for ECE or electrical engineering in a top engineering college or pursue CSE from an average college?

    More or less it depends on your test. What I mean to say is if you don't like it whatever it is it will never make you happy. Just do a little research about syllabus and field application of these fields, then it will be easier for you to choose one.

    I'll prefer you to opt for the ECE from the top college, as in that college you will get placement in a good MNC, whereas if you opt for the CSE from average college the placement is also average.

    I think top college is always preferable and ECE is also a good branch. So you should go through top colleges.
