Should I opt for higher studies or get a job after completing BBA and why?

Very generic but very important question at your stage. Your Interest will provide you the best answer to do.
If you choose higher studies after BBA, it is also a great option for you as you have made your base for the career and now it will be the time to make your career in pace or to define the pace. Because only BBA will not provide you a good career growth. MBA can explore you the best options with best opportunities.
If you choose a job for now then it will help you to make your theoretical knowledge to get practical exposure but as I said BBA will not provide you growth. The best strategy would be doing 2 years of a good job and t...more -
Bachelors of Business Administration is a course which teaches about fundamentals and basics of how a corporate management works. So, with this basic knowledge you can do a job rather than pursuing your higher education. You may get salary but you won't get promotion in the organisation. You'll be placed in the same position for years and years until and unless you have a Post-Graduation degree in your hand, you can't expect any promotions in any organisation. But if you want to pursue your higher education in IIM or some other reputed institutes, then you need to have two years of work experience. So, for that you can get a job and wor...more

You should go for MBA for better job position/profile and lucrative package. Prepare yourself for entrance exams. You need to clear an entrance test (such as CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ NMAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ NEST) accepted by various colleges and you should also have a minimum of 50% to 60% in your Bachelors (any stream) for admission in MBA. Admission in MBA is done on the basis of entrance exam followed by interview and GD. The best colleges India for MBA are:

I would say go for higher studies from the top universities Amity University, Lovely Professional University or Symbiosis Institute of Business Management that offers excellent learning atmosphere to its students and placement option is also very good.

6 years agoAccording to me, it depends on the college you will get for your higher studies like MBA. If you will get the top and reputed college, then go for it. i.e. higher studies. And, if you get average college, then I will suggest you to go for job. Do your job for one or two year, and try for entrance exams for getting top college for your MBA, and whenever you will get it, go for higher studies. -
If you take up a job after BBA that will give you a work experience but it won't fetch you handsome salary package and the promotions won't be at that high phase as are provided to the person holding a Master's degree in management.
I would suggest you can do a job foar a year and gain a work experience and then apply for the Master's degree programme in management as per your interest. There are no. of courses available in management for the students courses like MBA having 250 specialisations viz. marketing, human resource, health care, agriculture, IT, etc. If you have interest in marketing then you can go for Masters in Marketing Ma...more -
The best option for you is to choose a job immediately after your BBA.The job you choose should be based on your vertical.Whether it is marketing Hr or Finance.
After joining a company try to stick on to that company for 2 years minumum. Then you will get enough experience for practical knowledge. The most important thing a BBA student should look is his ability stick on to one company.
The 2 years of experience matters a lot when you apply for a best B-School for MBA.The chance of getting high placement package is very high.In best B-schools after MBA the placement package is approximately above 7 lakhs per annum. The highest in some co...more -

7 years agoTo put is short, there is no binary answer to this.
It is advised to do an post graduation degree because of tremendous competition now days. As a fresher there are two options left, one is whether to go for an MBA or to start the corporate job.
Now, my suggestion is, it is good to have experience pre MBA, but only if that experience is either a good learning, or from a reputed firm.
If you want to explore more on the subject line of what you want to do then having an experience is a big plus. But in case your best option is to go for higher studies and the job option isnt lucrative enough then go for an MBA.
To pursue an MBA from India, y...more -
