Should I opt for higher studies or pursue a job after completing B.Des. in Interior and Furniture and why?

Hi, You should take over a job after Bachelors for sure. First of all, let us talk about private sector jobs. Some of the notable recruiters include: -Interior Design firms -Architecture firms -Design Studios -Realty and Construction Management firms -Furniture Design/Manufacturing firms -Design Consultancies Talking about Government sector jobs, the prime recruiters are: -PSUs -PWD -Town/City Planning Department -Municipal Corporation If you are an entrepreneur at heart, you may start your own venture (design studio, interior design firm, design consultancy etc.). Starting salary of an interior designer depends upon a number of factors. Some of the prominent factors are: -Institute from which the candidate completed the course -Level of education (UG, PG etc.) -His/her specialization -The domain he/she has chosen -Job location On an average, starting salary could be anywhere between 40-80K INR per month. In case of a Government job, the salary will be as per the pay scale and grade. If you choose entrepreneurship over a regular job, profit generated will matter more than salary! All the best.
