Should I opt for IPM in IIM, Indore or pursue B.Com and try for MBA from IIM-A, B or C later?

I am a class 12th commerce with maths student. I want to take admission in SRCC. I want to get a job in the income tax department.

If you want to target IIM-A, B or C or any top notch B-schools specifically then you can go for B.Com and later try for MBA. Since IPM is a full 5 years programme, so you would be completing your MBA from IIM-Indore itself. B.Com from top notch place like SRCC in itself holds great value.

This is what I cannot decide clearly. Should I value and focus on SRCC or IIM Indore? SRCC seems not an easy nut to crack. Should I direct my efforts there or not?

The quality of batchmates and studies at IPM is at par with the PGP course, but due to lack of experience, the salaries are a bit low.
