Should I opt for lower rank NITs or pursue B.Tech in SGSITS, Indore?

    I would recommend you to take a course in lower nits if they interest you. If you are able to connect with the course you can do wondersin your life and the tag of nit will only help it. if you can get CS it at lower nits then go with it without blinking of eye otherwise follow your interest. you can try next year also by again giving JEE Mains. best of luck

    If you are getting core branch in GSITS even after home state quota, then don't go for lower NIT's as then GSITS will be better. Things are not only dependent on the NITs, also, GSITS has mostly NIT type student quality and sincere curriculum. I would strongly recommend you to go for GSITS.
