There is no special advantage in seeking Government job after MBA. Eligibility criteria for majority of class I to III jobs is graduation degree. You are already eligible to appear for government jobs examinations.

If you are a graduate then you are eligible to go for government Jobs.
Getting a PG degree will not add any advantage to Govt. Jobs preferences. So why to waste two years? Instead start preparing for Government competitive exams.
    I hope this helps!

If you want government job, don't even think about MBA. It gives you a corporate or private job and not government.

Yes, you can opt MBA. MBA is one of the most popular Masters degree for students across the globe. It is highly competitive with so many students aspiring to complete their MBA degree. Many students dream of holding an MBA degree and bagging a good job in one of the top companies in the country. But not everyone is lucky enough to live this dream and SEE it come true. It will be advisable if you do your degree from a well-known university and that provides prime placement opportunities, outstanding exposure and professional enhancement training.
