Should I opt for NSS in order to qualify CDS?

If you are opting for NCC, then it would be beneficial for you as there is 15% quota and preference is given to the NCC candidates.

NCC would be a better choice if you are sure about joining the armed forces. NCC cadets even get a quota in CDS.

NSS will help you to develop your personality, but it may not directly help you to become a commissioned officer in Armed Forces by appearing in CDS.
