Should I prefer a master's or job after getting a B.Arch?

    Hi Ruby,
    Immediately after completing B. Arch? I would say get a job for a while.
    Architecture is not a theoretical field. You need practical knowledge. You need to visit sites and see how work happens, learn how to deal with the people working on site, understand what the client wants even when he cannot express it, and most importantly, learn how to say no to the client when their demands are not feasible. No school of architecture or book can teach you this.
    Once you know these things, you will be better able to understand your masters program. Your tuition money will be better spent. Fresh out of B. Arch, you may know all your theorie
