Should I prepare for MBA / CA or for government jobs? I have recently completed my graduation in B.Com honors.

I would suggest you to decide this by your interest areas. Either of MBA or CA both are good. With CA, you can go very high in terms of salary.
At the same time, jobs in banking sectors are also good. You can also appear for bank PO exams.
